The Thornhill Volunteer Fire Department will once again be conducting their Parade of Lights in support of the foodbank on the evenings of December 14 to 17.
Non-perishable food donations will be accepted on all routes, collected by the Driving Force white cube truck at the rear of the parade. The Thornhill Fire Fighters Association can also accept donations in the form of cheques or e-transfers, please see this post for more info.
The fire trucks will depart the fire station at 6:00 pm each night, route information below, and maps are available on the TVFD Facebook page.
PARADE ROUTE
December 14: Fire Station to Kitsumkalum to North Terrace to Queensway
December 15: Fire Station to Chimdemash to Gooden Rd. to Kleanza to Gitaus (Kitselas) to Bornite to Gossen to Copper River to Copper Mountain
December 16: Fire Station to River Drive to Lower Thornhill to Upper Thornhill
December 17: Fire Station to Water Lilly Bay Resort to Lakelse lake First Ave to Jackpine Flats
The parade will also be passing the Northern Motor Inn on Thornhill Frontage Road South each night, a great spot for viewing and foodbank donations!
