Whether it’s a short trip or a long journey, there are a wide range of options to travel by bus throughout Northern B.C.: from Haida Gwaii to Prince George, and from Fort St. John to Williams Lake, and the many communities in between.

Bus the North is a website that highlights all these options for you in one central place; connecting you to the people and places that matter.

Type of buses and services

Bus services include:

  • large coach-style buses for long distances such as Northern Health Connections and BC Bus North
  • regional transit buses operated by BC Transit
  • small shuttle buses and vans providing service in smaller communities and regional centres

Ideal for:

  • Families traveling to access services
  • Individuals with disabilities
  • Individuals with medical or health appointments
  • Individual with less access to other transportation
  • Seniors and elders connecting to shopping and family
