Come celebrate with us on Saturday, August 10th for the Grand Opening of the RDKS Cricket Ground!
This brand new space is located in the Thornhill Agricultural Grounds off of Hwy 16 on Desjardins Ave.
The event begins at 1:00 p.m. and will feature remarks by Area E Director Ted Ramsey, who will deliver the inaugural bowl. Afterward, you can learn more about cricket by participating in a mini cricket session provided by the Northwest BC Cricket Association. Stick around to watch their exhibition match and see how a game is played!
If you're interested in participating in the game, members of the Northwest BC Cricket Association will be on hand to assist with registration. It promises to be an enjoyable day filled with fun, community spirit, and a chance to learn and play cricket.
Refreshments will be provided, however, seating will be limited so please bring portable seating if possible.

The RDKS Thornhill Cricket Ground is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis from Monday to Friday. If any group wishes to book the cricket ground on a weekend, you can book it through the Terrace and District Sportsplex Recreation department, based on availability.
