This spring ten of our ESS Team members attended the Network of Emergency Support Services Teams (NESST) conference, held for the first time in Kamloops, B.C.
The NESST conference brings together ESS Volunteers from all over British Columbia to share their experiences amongst each other, while taking part in the many workshops offered throughout the weekend. NESST offers a great networking platform allowing teams to come together and share their knowledge of Emergency Disaster Response.
During the conference our volunteers had the great opportunity to take part in panel discussions on response, workshops, and keynote speakers.
In closing, Minister Bowinn Ma gave an outstanding speech of appreciation to our valued volunteers extending her deepest gratitude.
